The stage shows two identical living rooms which are only seperated by floor markings and empty picture frames.

Light. The scene starts off with the left picture, showing an apparently lethargic man zapping on TV. With the entry of a woman, the right picture is lit. Parallel action starts here. Perfectly synched in time the same woman enters the right picture, where the man is missing, though, a fact fully ignored by the actress. She switches off the TV-sound, turns the radio on [music] and sits down next to him. He escapes this provocation by walking to the wall, staring at the picture [the empty pictureframe]. From now on perfect doubling: also on the right, the man stands in front of the picture. She jumps up and turns the music even louder, he sits down again. First swap on the right: in identical clothes Oliver Hangl takes the man’s position. She reacts disapproving when he whispers something in her ears. On the right, Hangl starts to sing. The lyrics run across both TV-monitors. He stands up and dances cheerfully in front of her. Second swap: the original actor takes back Hangl’s position. She runs towards him, pulls his jacket off him and throws it into the corner. Being exhausted, both sink slowly to the ground. Fade to darkness.
