Konstruktion und Lesbarkeit von Identität stehen im Zentrum dieser Arbeit, die sich im Spannungsfeld zwischen Fotografie, Film und Live-Performance bewegt. Spielerisch werden parallele Identitäten konstruiert, die in verschiedenen Medien manipulativ neben- bzw. gegeneinandergestellt werden. Die Verdoppelung von Identität bedeutet
zugleich deren Auflösung – ein Spannungsfeld, das sich dem Rezipienten letztlich als offene Projektionsfläche darstellt.
Ausgangspunkt ist dabei die Stereo-Fotografie, in der zwei verschiedene Menschen (in exakt gleicher Position) übereinandergeblendet werden, sodass sich für den Betrachter ein nicht festzumachendes Mischwesen präsentiert. Die Weiterführung dieses Prinzips in den bewegten Medien Film (Parrallel- und Stereoprojektion) und Live-Performance wird durch den Einsatz von ein-eiigen Zwillingen realisiert.

The construction and readability of identity are central in this work, which oscillates between photography, film and live-performance. In a playful but manipulative way, parallel identities are constructed and set against each other in different media. The doubling of identity indicates its dissolution – a field of tension and open screen at the same time, onto which the viewer is invited to project upon.
The starting point is stereo-photography, in which two different persons (in the exactly same position) are displayed above each other, which results in a strangely mixed subject. The implementation of this principle in the moving media film (parallel and stereo projection) and live performance is made possible through the engagement of identical twins.
